The Philadelphia Phillies became the latest Major League Baseball team to unveil their City Connect uniforms, which are set to debut on-field April 12 and be worn for Friday home games throughout the season.
"Our City Connect uniform captures the spir of the past, present and future of Philly," the team said in its announcement. "A gritty, tough-minded city, that like its people and its eam will fight all odds to make more history."
The uniforms are blue and yellow, a nod to the city's flag that was adopted near the end of the 19th century and the jerseys feature "a collar that's notably blue."
The uniform's hats feature the Liberty Bell with the city's skyline inset.
Nike began the City Connect uniforms in 2021 and 20 teams had debuted the alternates entering the 2024 season. The Phillies are the first of eight clubs set to introduce them this season, with the Los Angeles Dodgers set for their second design.

The New York Yankees and Oakland Athletics (leaving Oakland) are the only teams who will not have a City Connect uniform by the end of the year.
